Air Max 1 brings one of Tinker Hatfield's early designs to life for the first time. The design was originally conceived in 1986. History is brought to life with worn-in shoe aesthetics such as leather overlays and vintage-inspired midsoles. A Safari print on the mudguards and a "hand-painted" graphic above the Nike Air window complete the story that looks like it's pulled from a history book. The color scheme of purple and blue combined with light smoke gray expresses the realization of dreams.
